To follow, are selected passages from the CD-DVD liner notes of Moonlight In Empty Rooms, presented with the image of each piece of art, to which each piece of music has been written.
“Heidi’s music, to me, opens up a different plane of vision where all of a sudden familiar things acquire a whole new significance, weight and substance. In the process of producing my paintings I get used to them and when I’m finished I can’t always see them as a new thing. Heidi’s music allows me to look at my own work as if for the first time. Nothing compares to that. It is like traveling back in time and hugging your children when they were young, once again. And that is what art is all about. It puts us in a place where we can once again be ourselves.” A.V.
